Integrate Service Pack .

When you get to the "task selection screen" you need to select:

"Integrate a Service Pack"
"Hot fixes and updates pack"
"Create a bootable iso"

Then click next (note: you can also select other tasks, although i am not covering that for this tutorial. I always add drivers to the disc as well like for graphics card, chipset etc but that's optional. for now i suggest you just select the 3 mentioned above)

You should now see the screen "integrate a Service pack", you need to click select, and navigate to where you downloaded and save Service Pack 2 to (should be the SP2 folder you created earlier). Service pack 2 will be called.."WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-ENU". Once selected, n-Lite will automatically extract and integrate the files (slipstream). Once it has finished slipstreaming click next

Integrate Hot fixes and Updates .

You should now be on the "hot fixes and updates pack" screen, at the bottom of the box in front of you click help, then click "Web page with compatible Add-ons and Update Packs". A web page opens up in front of you, this is where you can get the updates that have been released since SP2 was released. (for now i strongly recommend you just get those updates) Scroll down to the Update Packs section. I always use "RyanVM's XP post SP2 update pack (english)" so click that. Scroll right dow to where it says Downloads, and click on the "post SP2 update pack" (was in green when i accessed the site) Click on that and select Save, make sure you save it to the Update folder you created earlier. Once it finishes downloading select close. Close down the web pages you can see till you see the n-Lite screen again.

Now click on the "insert" button at the bottom right of the screen, navigate to the update pack and select open. You should now see it has been added to the n-lite screen you can see. If it is showing, click next.

You will get a popup saying "apply changes?" Do you want to start the process, select yes. n-lite will now integrate the updates to you XP files. This process takes a while to complete, but when it finally finishes select "next"

Create Bootable ISO .

On the next page, "Create a Bootable ISO", you can edit the name for the Disc. Under where it says ISO Label, delete the text there and type in RekaTech XP SP2SS, you can name it what you want if you prefer. Once you have named it as you see fit. You now need to click on the box that says "Make ISO" This will create a burnable image file, so you can create the disc. Once finished select next then finish!

You have created an image file of your existing XP disc with Service Pack 2 and all the add-ons, so now we have to burn it to disc. To burn the image file i always use Nero, which is available on a free trial if you don't already have it.

Burn your slipstreamed disc with Nero .

Nero is a brilliant burning software and ideal for burning all your discs. To burn the image file you have saved go to

Start>All Programs>Nero>Data>Nero Burning Rom

If you get a box come up saying "new compilation" click cancel at the bottom. Then along the top toolbar select "Recorder" then "burn image".

When the next box pops up, simply select "Burn". This will now burn your new disc.
