This site was originally set up to offer FREE and reliable help and advice for XP users of all abilities. The site will remain to be a FREE resource for all, although I have now added a "donate" element to the site. If you feel that you want to make a donation it will greatly help with the costs I incur, and will enable me to improve the site and the features I am able to offer.

I would like to offer this as a free service also, but that would not be a viable option. So, in trying to offer this service and keep within the ethos of RekaTech, I have decided on the following call out costs and principles:-

No Fix, No Fee

Charge by the Job, not by the Hour

Obviously, this service can only be offered to people that live in my local vicinity (Manchester,U.K.). However, if you do not live in Manchester or even England, then I am able to offer remote assistance help. This means that I access your computer via broadband connection from my premises. Payment for remote access assistance can be done via paypal, so it is secure for both the customer and myself.

(If you are a company in the business of fixing computers, please feel free to use the resources on this site. However, callouts and remote
access assistance are aimed at helping individuals. Whilst I will assist if required, I will charge the "going professional rate" rather than the lower rate that I would charge an individual. This is to ensure that companies are not getting me to fix computers on their behalf and charging their customers a fortune for the work I have done. Also, by accepting work from companies, it will financially assist in my being able to offer individuals a better and greater service and improvements to this site.)
