Registry files & tweaks |
I have created several registry file tweaks (below) so the end user can easily make changes to edit/tweak the registry with just one click. Due to the importance of the registry to Windows, i prefer to make registry files than to direct people to do registry changes manually, as any error may cause instabilitties. All the registry edits below have been written by myself and have been tested. To use any of the files below, download the file and run it, the changes will be written to the registry automatically. If you want to see what is contained in the registry file (.reg), download the file and save it, then right click and open with notepad. |
CD/DVD missing or unable to

To add a location to the send to choices when you right click. Simply create a shortcut to the location you want added in the "send To" folder. The send to folder is located in C:/Documents and settings/(user) |

| Add a personalised title to your Internet explorer title bar. Download the .reg file and open with notepad to edit the default title of "powered by www.RekaTech.co.uk" then save. To run it just double click. |

Go to Start, right click on My Documents and select Properties. You should now see a My Documents Properties box, click on move, select the desired location and select ok. Then click apply and ok. |
